Cameron Men's tennis' record is 4-2 this spring season, including a 5-2 loss to No. 2-ranked West Florida. The Aggies earned a 4-1 win over No. 41 Auburn University Montgomery and a 5-2 win over No. 46 Southern Arkansas University earlier in the season. Cameron has two singles players and one doubles pair appearing in the ITA Rankings.
Lukas Janousek is the No. 4-ranked singles player in the NCAA Division II. Coming into the spring, Janousek was ranked No. 5 after winning the South Central Regional in the ITA Regional Championship tournament and beating No. 1 seed Soeren Grandke from Azusa Pacific in the ITA Cup. Janousek is 12-3 overall and 5-2 in the spring season with three-set losses to No. 5 Sebastian Rondon from West Florida and No. 55Â Giuseppe Bonaiuti from Auburn Montgomery.
Noe Milliard is the No. 73-ranked singles player in the NCAA Division II. Milliard is 5-5 overall and 4-3 in the spring season. Earlier in the season, in the match against Southern Arkansas, Milliard fell to No. 66-ranked Frode Neumann, 7-6 (10-8), 6-2 and to No. 2-ranked Diego Duran from West Florida in three sets.
Janousek and Milliard are the No. 4-ranked doubles pair in the NCAA Division II. They are 7-4 overall, and 4-2 in the spring season at No. 1 doubles for the Aggies, including a win over the No. 2-ranked pair of Sebastian Rondon and Diego Duran, 7-6 (8-6) in the loss to No. 2 West Florida.Â
Cameron is set to travel to St. Mary's University on March 15th at 1:00 PM in San Antonio, Texas and face the University of Hawaii at Hilo at home on March 17th at 1:00 PM.Â
