Tyler, Texas - The Cameron University Men's tennis team dropped their match against #7 University of Texas at Tyler, 6-1, in a Lone Star Conference match up.

The Aggies started off doubles with a win on the No. 2 court after Santiago Ledesma and Abubakari Yakubu-Lea earned a 7-5 victory. On the No. 3 court, Tom Debonne and Zoheir Fardoun dropped a close match in a tiebreaker, 7-6 () to even up the doubles point. The Eagles clinched the doubles point after No. 20-ranked Daniil Felker and Carel Wessel defeated No. 5-ranked Lukas Janousek and Noe Milliard in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-1).

In singles play, No. 8-ranked Samuel Antwi defeated Abubakari Yakubu-Lea in straight sets on the No. 4 court. On the No. 2 court, Noe Milliard dropped the match against No. 61-ranked Carel Wessel in straight sets to make the match 3-0 for UT Tyler. No. 8-ranked Lukas Janousek earned a singles point for Cameron after beating No. 35-ranked Artiom Dorofeev in three sets, 6-2, 1-6, 6-4. On the No. 5 court, Ulysse Esphahani was beaten by Daniil Felker in straight sets for UT Tyler to clinch match point. Santiago Ledesma fell on the No. 3 court to No. 20-ranked Malo Poulesquen in three sets and the Eagles picked up a straight-set win on the No. 6 court to wrap up the match.
