GLENDALE, Ariz. – The Cameron University men’s and women’s team had no trouble on Sunday afternoon at Glendale Community College sweeping both matches 9-0. For the men, they moved to 12-1 this season and have won 11 matches in a row, while the Aggie women are 10-1 overall.
In the women’s match, it was singles dominance for Cameron dropping one game, and sweeping the other matches 6-0, 6-0. While in doubles, the Ags got an 8-0 sweep in the one and three slot, and in two doubles Cameron won 8-3.Â
For the Aggie men, they didn’t allow a Glendale player to take more than two games in any set played. Nicolai Ferrigno kept his perfect season intact winning 6-0, 6-1 in the one singles slot. Ferrigno is now 13-0 this season in singles.
The Aggies will play one more match in Arizona, traveling to Grand Canyon University on March 18.Â
