LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron University men's and women's tennis teams are set to kick off the Fall 2025 season by hosting the Billingsley Family of Dealerships Tennis Invitational at the Streich-Henry Tennis Complex from September 5-6.

The two-day tournament will play host to a variety of teams. Joining the Aggie men on the court will be Division I Oral Roberts, LSC foe Midwestern State, Cowley College, and Weatherford College. The women will face the same lineup, with the exception of Oral Roberts.

Men's returners include seniors Lachlan Setina and Pavel Kelo, and sophomores Noe Milliard and Lukas Janousek. Returners for the women are comprised of senior Jenna Goessel, and sophomores Anna Deuringer and Alexsa Paucar.

NEW PLAYERS

The men's team welcomes freshman Tom Debonne and Lukas Holub and Division I transfers Santiago Ledesma (Lamar) and Eduardo Nunez del Prado (Prairie View A&M). Rounding out the women's roster are freshman Tiana Braxton, Isabella Quintero (Dallas Baptist), Alexa Garcia (McPherson), Adel Ismagulova (Northeastern State), and Nil Kalkavan (East Central).

QUOTING COACH COBBLE

Head Coach Josh Cobble expressed his enthusiasm about the start of the season, "I'm really excited for this weekend's tournament. It will be a great opportunity to see how our players compete in a D2 college tennis environment which is different for all of our new players." Coach Cobble added, "The Billingsley family is our sponsor again this year who are always great supporters of the tennis program among other things in the community and allows us to bring a great tennis event like this home."

He also highlighted, "We are returning to players who are returning after a lot of success last season. Noe Milliard was nationally ranked in singles all spring as a freshman and played the top doubles spot for most of the season. Jenna Goessel spent the season in and out of the national ranking in singles and was an All-American in doubles." Coach Cobble concluded by saying, "This list of new players brings together freshmen with transfers from all levels of college tennis from D1, D2, NAIA and Junior College. It's early and we are young but I'm excited to see this group live and in action this weekend."
