Kristian Kubik and
Kelsey Creech named to the Class of 2025 Lone Star Conference Scholar-Athlete awards. Kubik of men's tennis and Creech of softball have been selected as the men's and women's student-athlete for their outstanding leadership, athletic performances and accomplishments in scholarship.
Kelsey Creech led the Aggies from the top of the lineup and accumulated the most plate appearances with 171. From the leadoff spot she was atop the Cameron standings with runs scored at 51, hits with 65 and seven triples. She tied for the team lead with 109 total bases and second with 17 walks. Creech lifted seven home runs, hit in 37 RBI and slugged .637. At her position, she was perfect with zero errors committed for a 1.000 fielding percentage and two outfield assists. In her academics, Creech earned a spot on the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll with her 3.6 GPA.
Kristian Kubik was an integral run for the Cameron Aggies men's tennis playoff run. He finished the season ranked No. 41 nationally in doubles. For the 2025 season, he finished with an overall record of 8-2 in singles appearances and 6-2 for conference meetings. In doubles, he ended the year with an overall record of 11-6 and a conference record of 4-5. With his 3.9 GPA, he earned a place on the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. Kubik was selected to the Lone Star Conference Second Team honors in the doubles category. He was also an honorable mention for his singles performance throughout the year.
