DENVER, Colo. – Cameron men's tennis began the weekend in Colorado posting an 8-1 win against Metro State.

Starting in doubles, Nicolai Ferrigno and Dennis Merdan defeated Metro's Gabriel Vlahos and Adrien Delvaux 8-3 while Duje Janjic and Dean Weigelt won their match 8-4.

The Aggies had a clean sweep in singles led by Ferrigno's (6-2, 6-0) win in slot one. Janjic claimed his match (6-4, 6-1) as Jorge Gerosi won his (6-3, 6-4) in slot three. Merdan scored a (6-3, 6-1) win and Angelo Lencioni was successful (6-2, 6-1). In six singles, Joao Fazendeiro executed a (6-1, 6-4) victory.

Holding a 9-1 season record, the men will next face Mesa State at Grand Junction, Colo. on Mar. 10.
