Live VideoGame NotesFirst Tip:Â A fast start for the Aggies guided them to a 77-70 road win at Texas Woman's University on Wednesday evening. Â Cameron out-scored the Pioneers 23-12 in the first quarter, which was more than enough to get the Aggies a tough road win. The Aggies led for over 37 minutes and knocked down eight treys against a TWU squad that was ranked fourth in the latest NCAA South Central Regional Poll released earlier in the day.
Dayla Threatt led Cameron with 17 points, and she added eight boards.
Brandi Leal had 15 points with four made shots from beyond the arc. Â

About Midwestern State:Â Midwestern State fell to 5-20 overall and 4-11 in the LSC after Saturday's loss to Angelo State but clinched a spot in the Lone Star Conference Tournament with win over A&M Kingsville last week. The win over the Javelinas was the Mustangs' first on the road this season, as they are 1-8 on the road. Sophomore guard Whitney Taylor leads the Mustangs with 12.2 points per game, reaching double figures in 13 of the last 14 games and in all but two league games this season. Krishawn Crockett is second for the Mustangs in scoring with 8.3 points per game, while averaging 9.9 points during conference play.
Last Time vs. MSU:Â Past history didn't mean anything for the Aggies as they would blow out Midwestern State 87-59 earlier this season for the program's first win in Wichita Falls since 2005. Â The victory snapped an eight game skid to their rivals. Additionally the 28 point win by the Aggies is the largest road win against a Mustang team, their previous best was 19 points last set on Dec. 12, 1987. Cameron never trailed and shot 33-for-66 from the field was limited to only five treys. In rebounding Cameron picked up 48, which was eight more than MSU. Â Cameron shown their inside presence with 58 points coming from inside the paint.
CU vs. MSU the Series:Â The Aggies trail in the overall series 25-43 and snapped an eight game skid to the Mustangs with a 87-59 win at D.L. Ligon Coliseum on Jan. 30. Â Inside the Aggie Gym, Cameron has won 14 and loss 17 to Midwestern State. Â Cameron has not beating MSU back-to-back since takingthree in a row in 2004-05; in the last 15 meetings, the Aggies have dropped 13 contests.
