LAWTON -- #20 Cameron swept their second team in a row and has now won four straight with a 9-0 win over Colorado Mesa on Wednesday afternoon.
Since dropping their spring opener to Oklahoma Baptist, the Aggies have only dropped one game in their five overall wins.
In doubles play, the closest game was in the second pairing with
Samantha Wood and
Angie Torres edging out an 8-6 win.
The Aggies took all six singles slots,
Paula Gutierrez won her fourth match in a row 6-0, 6-3 in CU's top singles spot.
Zhenia Shviadok has won five in a row after taking the second singles slot 7-5, 6-0 and
Alina Gorina is now 5-1 this season in the four slot with a 6-1, 6-1 win.
With the win, Cameron will move up to 5-1 overall and Colorado Mesa falls to 10-9.
Cameron will remain at home to face Southwest Baptist on Thursday at noon.
