DENVER, Colo. – The #20 Aggies continued their red-hot play in the Rocky Mountains beating Metropolitan State of Denver 8-1 on Monday.
 
Cameron's lone blemish of the day was in its number-2 doubles spot.  
Paula Gutierrez and 
Mathilde Thibaudat swept the three doubles slot 8-0 with 
Alina Gorina and 
Zhenia Shviadok winning the top-doubles spot 8-6. 
 
MSU-Denver played shorthanded in singles play and carried players in the top-five spots; Cameron picked up a default win in the six spot.  
Samantha Wood swept her match 6-0, 6-0, and 
Angie Torres won 6-0, 6-1.  Gutierrez won the top singles slot 7-6, 6-2, and Gorina took a 6-1, 6-3 victory in the two slot.
 
Monday's win is the seventh in a row for the Aggies who are now 8-1 overall, MSU-Denver will fall to 4-11. 
 
The Aggies will face #9 Hawaii Pacific on Tuesday in Denver; the Sharks enter the match 11-3 overall and beat Midwestern State 7-2.
