LAWTON -- The Cameron women's tennis team will try to do something Wednesday that the program has failed to do in their previous five Sweet-16 seasons which is advance. Â
In their first four trips Cameron was swept out of the National Tournament without winning match. During the 1998 season, CU was bumped out 5-0 by Barry who would later finish in third place overall, and in 2011 the Aggies were once again swept by Barry in the opening round en-route to a national title.Â
One year later, the Aggies prevented a sweep for the first time but fell 5-2 to California (Pa.), the same program who CU will face in their sixth go-around.
