LAWTON – The stakes will be raised higher on Monday with the No. 15 Aggies hosting No. 17 Midwestern State in the NCAA South Central Regional. 
 
This will be the third meeting between the two programs who are separated less than an hour apart with Cameron winning in Wichita Falls twice.   In the first match CU edged the Mustangs 5-4 with 
Samantha Wood picking up a come from behind third set win in the five-slot.  The two programs faced each other in the Lone Star Conference title match with the Aggies winning their first tournament championship 5-2.

For one team on Monday, this will be the end, and the other will advance to the NCAA National Championships on May 18-21 in Denver, Colo.
Cameron is making their 17th NCAA postseason appearance where they are 11-16 overall with four regional titles.   This will be the 16th NCAA appearance for the Mustangs and are 13-15 overall.   The two teams have met once in the tournament in 2011, which was the last time CU hosted the regional; Cameron won 5-3 for their first women's regional title under head coach 
James Helvey.
