ARLINGTON, Texas – The Aggie men's tennis team won their semifinal match at the Lone Star Conference Championship on Friday, dominating UT Permian Basin 5-0.
Cameron got off to a quick start, winning all three doubles matches to go up 3-0.
In singles, CU needed just two more points to secure the win, and they got those from the last two LSC Men's Tennis Players of the Week.
Julen Gutierrez got a 6-1, 6-0 win in the five singles match, while
Vinicius Santos sealed the victory with a 6-4, 6-3 win in the one spot.
Cameron will face Midwestern State in the championship match on Saturday at 10 a.m.; CU beat the Mustangs 6-3 a few weeks ago in Lawton, Okla.
