About the Aggies:
After losing their last three matches, the Black and Gold are 6-19 on the season with a 2-12 Lone Star Conference record. They only have two more division matches left on the schedule, against Texas Woman's and Midwestern State next week. Statistically,
Arianna Navarrete (2.31 kills per set) and Demirjian (2.22 kills per set) lead the offensive attack, followed closely by
Sarah Wright and her 2.20 kills average. Manning and Marmolejo average just over 5.00 and 4.00 assists per set respectively, while also combining for 32 service aces at the setter position. Additionally, Henderson averages just under 1.00 block per set, while
Riana Blount and Franklin average 0.70 per set; CU's libero, Little averages a team-best 3.82 digs per set.
Scouting the Falcons:
The Falcons have had a strong season this fall, posting a 17-6 record with a 9-5 Lone Star Conference mark. After winning five in a row in early October, they are currently 2-3 in their last five matches. UTPB is strongest on defensive, where they average 2.8 blocks per set as a team led by Travana Matthews with 79.0 blocks and Skyler Friel with 74.0.
