Lawton, Okla – Women's Basketball defeats UCO.

The last time the Cameron Women's basketball team beat the University of Central Oklahoma was in February…of 2006.  That streak ended Friday night as the Aggies defeated their in state rivals 63-60.

From the tipoff the game was a back-and-forth battle.  There were 12 lead changes throughout the night and the game was tied eight separate times.

The teams had similar field goal percentages.  Cameron edged out their competition by hitting 42% of their attempts compared to the Bronchos 37%.  The Aggies also shot an impressive 86% from the free-throw line.

Katie King led all scorers with 24 points and was a perfect 8-8 at the charity stripe.  Korie Allensworth added 13 points on 5-7 shooting and 3-3 from the free-throw line.

The win brings the Aggies to a 2-2 record on the season.

The Aggies will return to action on Friday, Nov. 24 when they take on Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO.
