HOUSTON – The Cameron women's track and field team finished spring at J Fred Duckett Twilight hosted by Rice on Saturday at the Wendel D. Ley Track & Holloway Field.

Denim Boone ran the 100m sprint in 12.75 seconds; in the 200 meters, she clocked a 26.32.

In the 800 meter race, Genevieve Young had a 13th place finish with a time of two minutes and 17.17 seconds, Malethabo Seema crossed in 16th after clocking a time of 2:18.53, and Melohdee Marroquin ran the race with a time of 2:23.02.

Daesha Brathwaite completed the 1500-meters in 32nd place with a time of 4:56.17.

Belle Vignes had a time of 18 minutes and 41.33 seconds in the 5000-meter run.

The Aggies ran the 4x400 relay in 4:11.74 to place ninth. The team consisted of Boone, Young, Marroquin, and Seema.

CU heads to the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Championships in Lubbock, Texas, starting May 4.
