Lawton, Okla – Women's Basketball drops home game to West Texas A&M.
Saturday's game saw eight lead changes and five ties in a hard fought battle in which both teams had nearly identical stats. Both the Aggies and the Buffs shot 43% from the field, both had nine offensive rebounds, and both shot similarly from the free-throw line. Cameron shot 64% from the charity stripe while WT shot 60%. In the end it was points off the bench that made the difference in the game. The lady Buffs got 19 points from their bench while the Aggies bench recorded just four points, as the visiting West Texas Buffs won the contest 69-63.
Katie King led all players with 23 points.
Shamica Smith led the Aggies with 9 rebounds.
With the loss, the Aggies drop to 3-10 overall and 1-6 in the Lone Star Conference.
