LAWTON, Okla – In a closely fought matchup at the Aggie Gymnasium, Cameron University's women's basketball team faced a tough loss against Texas Permian Basin, 64-57. Despite their spirited efforts, the Aggies could not overcome the visitors' balanced scoring and strong defensive play.

The Leaders
  • Kennedy Cummings led Cameron's charge with 13 points, shooting 71% from the field (5-7), including two three-pointers. She also contributed 4 rebounds and 5 assists in her 20 minutes on the court.
  • Shamica Smith dominated inside with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals, showcasing her defensive prowess.
  • Grace Alverson added 9 points, including a crucial three-pointer, while Mercedes Mancha chipped in 6 points from beyond the arc.
