Head Coach Josh Cobble is brimming with enthusiasm for the upcoming season. In a recent statement, he expressed his optimism about the roster for both teams. "We've got a lot of our players returning this year, and I couldn't be more excited," Cobble remarked. "The dedication I've seen from these kids over the summer has been incredible. They've been working extremely hard to improve their game each and every day."
Cobble highlighted a few standout players to watch during the invitational and throughout the season. Among them are Louis Boilevin and Jenna Goessel, both of whom had outstanding performances last season, leading the Aggies to their first-ever appearances in the Men's and Women's Tennis NCAA Division II Championships respectively.
"Louis and Jenna really stepped up last year, and I'm expecting big things from them again," Cobble said. "But it's not just about individual talent – we've got depth on both sides, and that's what it takes to compete at the highest level."
The coach's ultimate goal for the season is clear: he hopes to guide both his men's and women's teams to national championship glory. "We've come close before, and I believe this could be our year," Cobble stated. "The Billingsley Family of Dealerships Tennis Invitational is our first step on that journey, and we're ready to make a statement right out of the gate."
