LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron University men's tennis team is prepped to play in the ITA South Central Regional Tournament this weekend in Wichita Falls, Texas. The tournament runs from Thursday, October 2
nd to Saturday, October 4
th.
The Aggies are looking to continue their momentum from the Billingsley Family of Dealerships Tennis Invitational. At the tournament a few weeks ago,
Lukas Janousek and
Eduardo Nunez del Prado reached the finals in their singles draws. In doubles play,
Pavel Kelo and
Eduardo Nunez del Prado won all three matches in their draw.

"We are really excited for this weekend. The guys have been working hard, and we have a lot of new players along with some strong returners. We will see two teams in LCU and UT Tyler that made the NCAA semifinals last season with mostly the same teams as last year so it will be a challenging weekend that will give us a look to where we are at this point in the season."
He also noted, "Noe and Lukas Janoušek will be heading into the tournament with seeds in both singles and doubles and have been playing well this fall. This event has a lot of variables that lead into success, and the guys are as ready as they can be for this point in the season."
In the singles draw,
Noe Milliard is the #6 seed, and
Lukas Janousek is the #16 seed.

Lukas Janousek are paired up as the #6 seed in the doubles draw.
The winner of the singles and doubles draw in this South Central Regional tournament automatically receives a bid to the 2025 ITA Cup October 16-19, 2025, at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia.
First serve is set for 8 AM tomorrow, beginning with singles play.
