Portales, NM. - The Cameron University Women's basketball team fell to Eastern New Mexico University Thursday night. The Greyhounds were leading after the first quarter 17-9, despite the Aggies' strong start. Throughout the second quarter, Eastern New Mexico maintained its momentum, leading Cameron 35-12 into halftime. Cameron shot 7.1% from the field and 14.3% from beyond the arc in the first half as they battled to establish an attacking rhythm. Coming out of halftime, the Aggies showed renewed energy and improved efficiency, looking to overcome their early challenges. The Greyhounds maintained their offensive pressure throughout the third quarter, widening the scoring gap. In the fourth quarter, Eastern New Mexico continued to outpace Cameron, extending their lead and securing the win.
