LAWTON, Okla. — The men's tennis team delivered a strong Senior Day performance at the Streich Tennis Complex, taking down nationally ranked No. 49 St. Mary's 5-2.
The Aggies came out strong and never looked back. Cameron swept all three doubles matches to claim the opening point, with
Noe Milliard and senior
Kristian Kubik dominating court one, 6-2.
Rhys Edwards and
Vicente Preto followed up with a 6-3 win on court two, while
Lachlan Setina and
Lukas Janousek sealed the sweep with a 6-2 victory at line three.
Cameron kept the momentum going in single play, with
Louis Boilevin notching a straight set win on court one, 6-3, 6-3.
Noe Milliard rolled to a 6-2, 6-1 win at the No. 2 spot, while Kubik added another point with a gritty three-set battle, 6-0, 2-6, 6-2. Janousek's 6-2,6-2 win at line five clinched the fifth and final point for the Aggies.
With the victory, Cameron strengthens its resume ahead of postseason play. The Aggies now shift their focus to the Lone Star Conference tournament, carrying both momentum and confidence.
