LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron University Volleyball team returned to Aggie Gym Friday evening, falling to Lubbock Christian University in three sets, 25-16, 25-12, 25-23. The Aggies moved to 1-15 overall and 1-4 in Lone Star Conference play. Cameron opened the match with a 3-0 run behind kills from Anastasija Andelic and Maria Osorio, but LCU responded and pulled away for the 25-16 opening-set victory. The Lady Chaps carried the momentum into the second, taking the frame 25-12. The Aggies put together their strongest performance in the third, racing out to a 5-0 advantage behind the serve of Mavery Salisbury. Cameron held the lead through much of the set before LCU tied the score at 15-15. The teams traded points down the stretch, with Cameron pulling within 24-23 before the Lady Chaps closed out the match, 25-23.

Anastasija Andelic led Cameron with 12 kills while adding 12 digs for a double-double.
Maria Osorio added nine kills while hitting .194, while Addison McClure led the defensive effort with 16 digs. Salisbury finished with a team-high 18 assists, nine digs and one service ace.
