Canyon, Texas - The Cameron University baseball team lost the first game of the series to West Texas A&M University Friday afternoon. West Texas A&M scored first in the bottom of the first inning tp take an early lead. Cameron would get on the board with two runs in the top of the fourth. The Aggies would battle back to only be down one run in the sixth inning, with Wyatt Cunningham hitting an RBI single. West Texas A&M would add on some insurance runs late in the eighth inning and then hold off Cameron in the top of the ninth to secure the win.
