Lawton, Okla. - The Cameron University baseball team dropped both games of the doubleheader against #20 University of Texas at Tyler Saturday afternoon.

In game one, the Aggies scored the first run of the game after Diego Villarreal hit an RBI line out in the bottom of the third inning. UT Tyler took the lead in the top of the fifth inning, scoring two runs off of a double. In the top of the sixth inning, the Patriots scored two more runs to extend the lead, 4-1. UT Tyler scored another insurance run in the top of the seventh inning and closed out the game defensively.

In game two, Cameron got on the board first with an RBI single from Diego Villarreal in the bottom of the first. UT Tyler evened up the game with a run in the top of the second. The Patriots took the lead in the top of the third on a solo home run. Sutton Titsworth gave the Aggies the lead back in the bottom of the third with a 2 RBI single. UT Tyler tied the game again in the top of the fourth inning, and took the lead back in the top of the fourth inning. The Patriots would extend the lead to two runs in the top of the seventh inning. Daniel Yardley hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh to cut the deficit to one run, but Cameron could not complete the late comeback.
