Lawton, Okla. - The Cameron University baseball team dropped the first game of the series to the University of Texas at Dallas on Saturday afternoon. UT Dallas struck first with 3 runs in the bottom of the second inning to take the early lead. Cameron responded back with one run in the top of the third off of a
Zane Roos RBI double, and another run in the top of the fourth off of a
Will Bradley RBI single to cut the lead to one run. The Comets added to their lead with 3 runs in the bottom of the fourth off of a 2 RBI double and a sacrifice fly. The Aggies battled back in the top of the fifth, scoring 2 runs to cut the lead back to one again. UT Dallas tacked on 4 runs in the bottom of the fifth to pull away and take the first game of the series.
