2018 (Senior): Garrett led the Aggies on the mound during 2018 with 12 starts, a 5.23 ERA, three complete games, and a 6-5 record. The senior struck out 56 batters in 74 innings of work, while holding the opposition to hitting .277 against him. Garrett struck out a season best eight hitters in five innings in the season opener against Southwestern Oklahoma (2/3), and had three complete game, seven inning wins against Northwest Missouri State (2/18), Texas A&M-Kingsville (3/17), and Eastern New Mexico (3/30). 

2017 (Junior): Garrett appeared in 10 games and started five for CU while posting a 2-4 win/loss record and getting one save. In 38.1 innings of work, he compiled a 4.23 ERA and 23 strikeouts, while holding the opposition to hitting just .250 against him. His one complete game came against William Jewell on Feb. 17 when he gave up just one earned run on five hits and four strikeouts in nine innings of work. In his next start at Oklahoma Christian, Garrett recorded a season high seven strikeouts in 6.2 innings pitched. On March 17 against Texas A&M-Kingsville, he pitched eight innings and gave up just two earned runs in the 4-2 win over the Javelinas.
