Previous to Cameron: Pitched in limited action at Navarro Junior College, going 5.1 innings with five strikeouts and a 3.43 ERA.

High School: Graduated from Crawford High School where he was a two sport letterman in baseball and basketball... Was a third team All-State firstbaseman and a District Defensive MVP in 2012... Named to the 2nd team All-State team as an outfielder and was first team Super Center in 2013... was also named the 2A Sixth Man Award in basketball.

Personal: Son of Art and Cindy Kleypas. His sister Amy played softball for Hill Junior College from 2009 to 2011 and then went on to play for the University of Arkansas from 2011 to 2013.
