Box Score 2 DURANT, Okla. – The Cameron Aggies softball team (3-9) put two wins under their belt today at the Southeastern Tournament with a 2-0 victory of Ouachita Baptist and a 6-1 thumping of Henderson State.
Against OBU, Cameron jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead on a
Jessica Orr homerun on the first pitch.
In the third,
Kelly Lentz reached on a single and was batted around by
Drew Wright who singled to right field.
The Aggies held on to that 2-0 lead for their second victory of the season.
In the day’s second game, the Cameron bats came alive to the tune of six runs with four in the sixth.
The Ags were helped by a pair of errors in the second and added two runs.
Leslie Martini took a 1-1 pitch in the sixth out of the park to run the lead to 3-1 before the Aggies added three more in the inning.
Cameron returns to the diamond tomorrow and will try to extend their two-game winning streak when they take on Missouri Western and Texas A&M International.
