Box Score 2 DURANT, Okla. – Cameron Aggies third baseman
Drew Wright provided two runs with two swings of the bat on Sunday as the Cameron softball (4-10) team split their final day of play at the Southeastern Tournament.
The Aggies topped Texas A&M-International 3-1 behind the two single shots from Wright but fell in eight innings to Missouri Western, 1-0.
Meca Chambers also took one yard against TAMIU for the Ags’ first run of the game in the third inning.
Against Missouri Western, the teams were scoreless through seven and needed an extra inning to sort the game out.
In their half of the inning, the Ags were unable to produce any runs while Missouri Western was able to knock the one lone run in necessary to earn the victory.
The Aggies return to the diamond on Tuesday, Feb. 22 when they travel to Stephenville, Texas for a doubleheader with Lone Star Conference foe Tarleton State. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
