Box Score LAWTON, Okla. -- The Cameron Aggie women’s basketball team had too many missed shots that led to their demise against East Central Oklahoma as they lost 78-46.

Cameron’s chances to win weakened as they started missing multiple shots and free throws in the first half. In the first half CU shot 26% from the field, 12.5% from three, and 60% from the charity stripe.
The shooting did not improve in the second half as CU shot 17% in the second half to give them a total percentage of 21.4% for the game. They did improve their free throw shooting in the second by shooting nine for nine from the line. They totaled 22% from the arc for the game and 75% from the free throw line.
Cameron put together a four point lead early in the first half but from then on the game was controlled by the Tigers.
ECU had a total of 40 bench points compared to CU’s 11 and also out battled the Aggies in the paint as they had 26 points compared to Cameron’s 16.
The Aggies were able to hold their own on the glass as they were only out-rebounded by 4 (ECU-32, CU-28).
Cameron was led by Hannah Pollart who had 13 points and six rebounds, and Lacy Reinke who had nine points and six rebounds.
ECU shot lights out from the field hitting 51% from the field and had every player on their bench score tonight; including Alycea Price, who led the team with 13 points and six rebounds, and Kodi Morrison, who had 12 points.
For their next game, the Aggies will welcome Oklahoma Panhandle State to the Aggie Gym on Nov. 20 for both a women’s and men’s game. The women’s game will start at 6 p.m. and the men’s game will follow.
