The Aggies busted the flood gates open early getting five runs in the first inning on the Zias. Both of the Martini sisters hit run scoring doubles before Zukerman hit a three run shot over the left field wall.
Betts held the Zias quiet until the third where she would give up a leadoff homer to Jaqueline Candelaria. Eastern New Mexico wasn't done scoring through; Kyra Sirag would hit a single that would lead to a two run shot by Erica Armedarez to pull the Zias within two.
In the bottom frame, Cameron played small ball after leadoff of walk by Spencer Ferrell. Carly Allerheiligen would drop down a sacrifice bunt to move Ferrell into scoring position. The move paid off for Cameron as Tara Martini hit a single to score Ferrell in from second. Cameron would lead after three innings, 6-3.
