LAWTON – After nine days off the Aggie women will close out the calendar year with their second to last non-conference game at Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.  This will the first time that the Aggies have faced or visited SEOSU since the 2010-11 season.Â

A quick look at the Savage Storm: After an 8-0 start to the season, SEOSU dropped a Great American Conference matchup on the road at Southern Nazarene after shooting 35.7 percent from the field, and a season low five triples; from the charity stripe, the Savage Storm went 12-21, going below 60 percent from the line for the second contest in a row.  The Savage Storm last played on Saturday and squeaked by Northwestern Oklahoma 70-66 in overtime.
On the season SEOSU is scoring 73.3 points per contest, going 42.5 percent from the field, 39.7 percent from the three point line, and 74 percent from the free throw line. They average 42 rebounds per contest and allow their opponents to grab 37.7 boards for a +4.3 rebounding margin. Â On defense, the Savage Storm has held their opponents to 56.6 points per game and a shooting percentage of 34.1 from the field and 27.4 from behind the arc.Â
Southeastern is led by Emily Williams, with 16.8 points per game, and Olivia Potter, with 10.7 point per game. Potter has made 32 three pointers this season and is shooting an impressive 51 percent from behind the arc.Â
Last time out:Â In their home opener, the Cameron University women couldn't slow down Southwestern Oklahoma in the second half falling 82-68. Â
Jazzmine Robinson paced the Aggies with 27 points, four short of a career high that she reached on Thanksgiving weekend in Canyon.
As a team, Cameron shot 45.8 percent but went 3-19 from beyond the arc;Â
Cristina Soriano was the only other Aggie in double-figures with 12 points. Southwestern Oklahoma went 51.9 percent on their side of the court.  SWOSU edged CU 30-29 in rebounding, with the Aggies committing three fewer turnovers with 15 overall.
Looking forward:Â Cameron has the fourth best scoring offense in the Lone Star Conference, averaging 69.6 points per game, the Aggies are third in the conference with a 34.7 three point percentage, and are leading the league with 7.3 three point shots made per game.
Individually,
Jazzmine Robinson is leading the LSC in scoring with an average of 18.1 points per game. She is also fourth in rebounding with 8.7 per game and fourth in field goal percentage, converting on 43 percent of her shots. Additionally, both
Brandi Leal and
Jade Herl are towards the top of the conference in three point shooting, with Herl at fifth in the LSC with a 39.7 three point percentage, and Leal leading the league with 3.1 made threes a game and Herl in third with 2.7.
