Box Score 2 WICHITA FALLS, Texas –
Tara Martini went 6 for 9 with 6 RBI and two homers to help guide Cameron to a 13-9 win over Northeastern State and a 6-2 win over Rogers State.
The Aggies (7-3) are off to their best start since 2010 and their longest winning streak at six games since 2009.
On Saturday the Aggie hitters had 29 hits with a .426 batting average against opposing pitching.
In the first game Cameron trailed by six runs and managed to outslug Northeastern State 13-9.
The Riverhawks belted four runs in the first and two more in the second before the Ags erupted with a seven run second inning to take the lead. Cameron batted around the order with eight hits with
Carly Allerheiligen,
Tara Martini,
Emily Nix, and
Macy McKay all driving runs for CU. The Aggies added one more run in the third off of a Martini single up the middle but Riverhawks would retake the lead 9-8 with a three run fourth.
Cameron responded back and tied the game at nine in the bottom off the fourth after
Kolbee Gray single up the middle.  The Ags were done though and in the fifth Allerheiligen hit an RBI single to score
Sonora Zukerman and added two more additional runs off a
Makenzie Burk single to give CU a 12-9 lead.
Tara Martini gave Cameron one more insurance run with her third homer of the season to cap off the 13-9 win.
Martini went 3 for 5 with 3 RBI, Allerheiligen had three hits and a pair of RBI, and Burk chipped in a pair of hits and 2 RBI.Â
Sam Betts went 3 1/3 innings and gave up nine runs in the no-decision.Â
Betsy Woodall (2-1) tossed the final 3 2/3 in the circle and gave up only a pair of hits in the win.
The second game against Rogers State didn't start until nearly 9 pm but it wouldn't slow down Cameron who would take down their sister school 6-2 in the late night showcase.
Cameron attacked first with a sacrifice fly RBI from Allerheiligen but the score would even at one in the third after a sac bunt pushed across the Hillcat runner in from third.
The Aggies worked some two out magic in the fourth after Allerheiligen singled and Burk dropped down a bunt single to put two runners on; Dooley would drive in the go-ahead single give CU the 2-1 lead. In the fifth Martini hit her second homer of the day to give the Ags an insurance run.
Cameron wasn't done scoring through and worked the bases loaded; Martini continued her hot day and drove in two more runs off a single through the right side. Zukerman continued party with RBI single put CU up 6-1 over Rogers State.
In the seventh RSU plated in a run and managed to get the tying run on deck but they would pop up and strike out to end the game with a 6-2 Aggie win.

Kelsey Watson (2-2) pitched her first tossed her first complete game of the season, allowing two runs, five hits, while punching out five RSU hitters.
Cameron will have one more game on Sunday in Wichita Falls at noon against Northeastern State.
