Aggie softball sweeps Texas A&M International

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CANYON, Texas – The Cameron University softball team returned to the winning ways after sweeping Texas A&M International 5-4 and 10-1 on Saturday afternoon.
 
Cameron (11-4) took three of four games in the Lady Buff Invitational and they are still off to their best start in program history after winning 10 of their last 11 games.
 
In game one Aggies got a 3 for 4 and 2 RBI effort from Macy McKay and two hits from Tara Martini to lead CU.  Betsy Woodall started the game and went 1 2/3 innings before getting relieved by Kelsey Watson (4-3) who went the final 5 2/3 innings for the win.
 
Game two was all about offense and the Aggies got pair of homers and 4 RBI from Breezy McComas.  Misty Dooley went 3 for 4 with a pair of RBI and Makenzie Burk had three hit, three stolen base game. 
 
Cameron would run-rule the Dustdevils in the fifth inning and Sam Betts (5-0) tossed her fifth complete game of the season in the win.

The Aggies will return home to open league play on Friday and Saturday with Eastern New Mexico.
