About the series
This will be Cameron's first appearance at Oklahoma Christian since the 1997 season with the overall series is tied at 6-6 and Aggies 1-1 at OC.   Both teams met last season at Cameron Field and they would split a doubleheader with the Aggies winning game one 8-7 and the Eagles coming ahead in the nightcap 8-5.  The doubleheader on Tuesday night will be Cameron's final non-conference contest in the 2014 season.
 
Scouting the Eagles
Oklahoma Christian has won 13 of their last 15 games with their losses coming at the hands of the Central Oklahoma and St. Edward's.  At home the Eagles have proved to have the advantage with a 14-4 record and against the Lone Star Conference they are 4-4.   As a group the Eagles are eight points back of Cameron in batting average (.301) but they hold the slight edge in on-base percentage by three points with a .384 and the ability to run the ball with 65 stolen bases.  Martha Thomas leads OC with a .456 batting average with eight homers and 34 RBI this season.   In the circle Shea Coats leads the Eagles 2.02 ERA in 24 appearances this season while holding teams to a .219 batting average. 
 
Postseason bound
At 25-13 overall the Aggies have their fifth highest season win total in program history and they are locked in on May 3 for the Lone Star Conference Tournament.   The Aggies are a game and a half back of Texas Woman's for third place and one back of Midwestern State for fourth; Cameron will conclude their regular season against both of these programs.
 
Streaking
Tara Martini has gone 22 straight games where she has reached base and Misty Dooley one game back of Martini.  This is the longest active streak for an Aggie hitter since 2009 when Megan Young went 27 games in a row.
 
Record Breaker
As a program Cameron surpassed its program mark for stolen bases in a season with 58; the previous high was 54, set during the 1997 season.   The Aggies have three players with 10+ stolen bases with Makenzie Burk leading the team with 16; Tara Martini is one back of Burk, with Misty Dooley standing at 12.
 
Looking ahead
Cameron will play at Midwestern State on Friday at 5 p.m.  in the first half of a LSC home-and-home doubleheader.
