LAWTON -- The Cameron University will continue their three game road stretch as they face Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman's in back to back games. The Aggies are 4-7 overall this season and 1-1 in Lone Star Conference play, while both the Lions and Pioneers have gone undefeated in league play after both suffering loses to Midwestern State.

First Tip: The Aggies suffered an 18 point loss to a ranked opponent in West Texas A&M in their last outing, and hope to get back on track and get a couple of conference wins against the Lions and Pioneers.
Cameron dropped both of their games against TAMUC last season, putting the record between the two teams at 21-19 in favor of the Lions. In their last trip to Commerce, CU lost 56-67 in a game where
Jazzmine Robinson scored 13 points.
The Aggies trail TWU 22-15 overall and lost both contests against the Pioneers a year ago. Robinson had nine points in the losing effort, while the team shot under 40 percent from the field and under 30 percent from behind the arc.
About Texas A&M-Commerce: The Lions started out the season with a 5-4 non-conference mark, with wins against McMurry, Ouachita Baptist, Southern Arkansas, and Arlington Baptist. They started out conference season with a loss against MSU, and then got back to back wins against Texas A&M-Kingsville and Angelo State.
The Lions are toward the middle of the pack in the conference in almost every statistical category, but are second in rebounds per game with 41 and grab 13.9 offensive rebounds per contest. They are led by La'Tisha Hearne, who averages 11.9 points and 7.8 (4th in the LSC) rebounds a game and shoots 51.2 percent from the field. Additionally, Princess Davis (4.2) and Ashlee Johnson (3.7) lead the LSC in assists.
About Texas Woman's: After a 7-4 non-conference mark, the Pioneers started out league play with a loss to MSU, but then followed it up with three straight wins against Tarleton State, Texas A&M-Kingsville, and Angelo State.
TWU is one of the best defensive teams in the conference, holding teams to 58.9 points per game, a .359 shooting percentage, and recording 3.53 blocks and 8.72 steals per game. They are led by Emily Spector, who averages 11.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest. Erin Maxwell (1.8 blocks) and Ashley Salazar (2.3) are both second in the LSC.
Coming Up: Following the back to back games against the Lions and Pioneers, the Aggies will return back home to host Tarleton State on Saturday, Jan. 17.
