LAWTON – After being off for almost three weeks, the Cameron Women's basketball team will open up 2015 with the final non-conference game of the season against Northwestern Oklahoma State.

The Rangers' leading scorer is Kayla King, who is averaging 9.2 points per game, and Relina Johnson is second on the scoring list with nine points. Â In rebounding, Northwestern Oklahoma is averaging 28.5 boards a game with Johnson leading her squad with 4.2 a game.
Cameron has taken the last four matchups with the Rangers and 11 of the last 13 since the 1983-84 season, with CU leading the overall series 14-10; Northwestern Oklahoma is 5-8 in Lawton with their last win coming in 1997.
Last time out: On December 15, the Aggies traveled to Durant and scored five answered points in the final seconds to beat Southeastern Oklahoma State 82-81. It was a
Jade Herl three point bucket that sealed the deal with just 10 seconds left in the game. Herl scored a team high 19 points on five three pointers in the win, while
Charron Montgomery chipped in 14 points, and both
Jazzmine Robinson and
Brandi Leal added 12 points apiece, with Robinson grabbing 12 rebounds for a double double. As a team, CU shot 42 percent from the field, 44 percent from behind the arc, and grabbed 43 rebounds, almost double the amount SEOSU had.
Looking forward:Â Cameron has the second best scoring offense in the Lone Star Conference, averaging 71.1 points per game, the Aggies are third in the conference with a 36 three point percentage, and are leading the league with 8.1 three point shots made per game.

Jazzmine Robinson is second in the LSC in scoring with an average of 17.4 points per game. She is also third in rebounding with 9.1 per game and in field goal percentage, converting on 42.6 percent of her shots. Additionally, bothÂ

Jade Herl are towards the top of the conference in three point shooting, with Herl at third in the LSC with a 42.1 three point percentage, and Leal leading the league with 3.3 made threes a game and Herl in second by averaging three triples a contest.
