Additionally, Leal was one short of tying the national high this season in Division II that was made by Alaska-Anchorage's Jenna Buchanan. Leal leads the Aggies in scoring by averaging 12 points per game and averages 4 three-pointers per game. Halbleib is behind her as she averages 8.5 points per game. Leading the team in rebounds per game (5.5) and blocks per game (2.0) is senior

Brandi Leal's career high seven treys for a team high 21 points. Cameron ended the night shooting 25-of-58 from the field (43.1%), and
Dayla Threatt was CU's other scorer in double-figures with 12; she would also have six rebounds. Vallier had a team high eight boards and two blocks.

About Texas A&M International: The Dustdevils enter the 2015-16 season with three returners, and seven additional newcomers that round out the ten player team. The team was selected to finish 6th after picking up 103 votes in The Heartland Conference preseason poll after finishing last season 13-13 overall and 9-9 in conference play. TAMUI started the current season on a three game slump, falling to Lone Star Conference opponents Texas A&M-Kingsville and Tarleton State, but got revenge on TSU at home on Tuesday. The Dustdevils are averaging 61.5 points per game behind leading scorer Jessica Prieto who is third in the league in scoring by averaging 18.3 points per game.

CU vs. TAMUI: This will be the third time that the Aggies have met with the Dust Devils with Cameron leading the overall series at 2-0. The last time both teams faced each other was in 2010 where the Aggies opened their season with a win, posting a 76-64 victory in the Aggie Gym. In 2003, Cameron defeated TAMUI 86-66 on a neutral court in Austin, TX.

About Minnesota State-Moorhead: The Dragons collected 149 total points in the 16-team Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and were picked to finish in seventh place. MSUM finished the 2014-15 season at 17-12 overall and 14-8 in the NSIC and advanced to the NSIC tournament semifinals for the first time since 2008. After graduating its leading scorer, MSUM returns four starters including senior forward Heather Strese who helped the Dragons to a 3-0 start where she averaged 17 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game so far. As a team, MSUM averages 83.3 points per game, 6.7 three-point field goals per game and 39.7 rebounds per game.

CU vs. MSUM Series: The Dragons and Aggies have met only once prior in 1998 at the Kingsville Tournament with Minnesota State-Moorhead taking the 1-0 series lead after defeating the Aggies 66-59 at the neutral site.
