Â Cameron shot 18-for-54 from the field went 15-for-17 at the charity stripe, while UAFS shot 22-for-71 on their side of the court and the made a season low four treys. In rebounding, CU trailed 52 to 37 with the Lady Lions picking up eight extra second chance points.
About Southwestern Oklahoma:Â The Lady Bulldogs are 2-5 to start their season and 1-3 in GAC play after picking up their first conference win on Dec. 5 in a 89-78 victory over Southern Arkansas. Center Janae Coffee set a league record with 27 rebounds in a single game, 11 of which were offensive helping SWOSU to 18 second chance points. The redshirt senior also scored a team high 26 points. The team averages 75.7 ppg and allows 77.6 ppg on the opponent's side of the floor. SWOSU has experienced turnover troubles with 15.6 per game but is strong at rebounding, grabbing 45.9 boards per game. Jade Jones is the Lady Bulldogs leading scoring at 14.6 ppg, and she also averages 5.1 assists per game. Coffee is behind her, averaging 10.6 ppg. In their seven games, SWOSU has shot an average of .39% from the field, .34% from behind the arc, and .68% from the charity stripe.
CU vs. SWOSU series:Â This is the second year in a row and second time overall that the Aggies and Lady Bulldogs have faced each other. Â Cameron's last meeting with SWOSU was in Lawton with the Aggies falling 82-68. Â Southwestern Oklahoma leads the series 12-27 and they are 14-4 against Cameron in Weatherford. Â Under Coach Webb, the Aggies are 4-3 overall and have won their last two road meetings.Â
