LAWTON -- Cameron and Midwestern State will battle it out in the regular season finale on Saturday to find out who the two seed will be in the Lone Star Conference Tournament. The Aggies are 12-3 in conference play and are currently second in the LSC standings, while MSU is 11-4 in league play and in third.

The Aggies beat Angelo State by 25 points in their last game, and look to continue their momentum into the final installment of this year's Red River Rivalry on Saturday night. The Aggies have a one game lead over MSU in the Lone Star Conference standings, and because the Mustangs won the game at CU earlier this season whoever wins this game secures the number two seed in the LSC Tournament.
In their meeting in Lawton on Jan. 31, missed free throws plagued the Ags as they shot just 9-22 from the charity stripe in the 79-70 loss.
Jazzmine Robinson led CU with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Lisa Hampton had 21 for MSU. In the 67 times these two times have matched up, the Mustangs hold a 42-24 lead and have won the last six games played on their home court.
About Midwestern State: The Mustangs are coming off a 78-63 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville last Saturday. Midwestern State averages just over 70 points per game, while holding opponents to an LSC leading 59 points per contest. They are shooting 42 percent from the field, 34.6 percent from behind the arc, and 74 percent from the free throw line. On the boards, they average about 40 rebounds per game, while holding the best rebounding margin in the league at plus-seven. MSU averages 13.6 assists and 17.8 turnovers per game, and on defense, they lead the LSC with 4.16 blocks and are second with 13.6 steals per game.
Individually, they are led by Andrea Carter, who leads the league with 9.5 rebounds per contest while averaging 13.2 points per game, and Dianna Jones, who averages 12.7 points and 4.1 assists per game. Additionally, Lisa Hampton is in the top-3 in the conference in both three pointers made per game (2.5) and three point percentage (.425), and Shambreka Jones is second in the league with almost two blocks per outing.
Regionally Ranked: For the second straight week, the Aggie women were ranked no. 6 in the NCAA South Central Region, which includes teams from the Lone Star Conference, Rocky Mountain Conference, and the Heartland. West Texas A&M remained at the top of the rankings, while Midwestern State dropped down to the third spot and Tarleton State held pat in eighth.
Powering the Aggie Offense: Jazzmine Robinson is in the top-5 of the LSC in points, rebounds, field goal percentage, assists, and steals, and her 17.7 points per game is 54th in the nation.

Jade Herl have CU ranked fifth in three point percentage and 10th in three pointers per game. Leal is first in the nation with 3.8 threes per contest, while Herl is 19th with a .429 three point clip.
Coming Up: Cameron head down to Allen, Texas for the Lone Star Conference Tournament next week, Mar. 4-7. They will be either the two or three seed based on the outcome of Saturday's contest. Game dates and times will be announced at a later date.
