Aggies host Tarleton State for four game series

Lead Off
1.    The Aggies remain in the NFCA poll but they have dropped out of the top-25 and now are receiving votes. 
2.    After winning 17 games in a row, the Aggies have dropped eight of their last 11 contests.
3.    Breezy McComas is leading CU at the plate with a .407 batting average and she is tied for seventh in the Lone Star Conference with nine homers.
4.    Tara Martini is second in the LSC with 15 homers, her total this season is good for fourth all-time at CU, and with 36 in her career she is third all-time.
5.    The Aggies trail the overall series with Tarleton State 19-8-1 and this will be their first meeting in Lawton since 2012; last year at TSU both teams split the four game series.

- Both Cameron and West Texas A&M are tied for the LSC lead in batting average at .354, the Aggies lead the league by two with 60 homers.
- Cameron maintains the best fielding percentage in the LSC with a .977 or 26 errors, which is nine fewer than the next closest program, West Texas A&M.
- Lauren Renneker is third in the LSC with 13 homers and he has had 39 RBI in 37 games this season.   In her prior three years at Southeastern Oklahoma she was .254 batter with eight homers and 40 RBI.
- Tara Martini needs seven doubles to tie Megan Young (2006-09) who had 55 doubles in her four year career at Cameron.  Martini recently became CU's all-time RBI leader with 166, besting the previous mark by one. 
- Paige Daino is sixth the Lone Star Conference with 43 RBI, which is tenth best in a season at Cameron, with 46 Martini is eighth highest.
- Kelsey Watson has eight shutouts this season which is two short of tying Carrie Dilks who had 10 in 2011, Watson has 14 career shutouts which is four short of Dilks' record. 
- Misty Dooley and Martini are tied for second in runs all-time at Cameron, presently they are locked up at 137.
- Dooley tied a LSC record with five runs against Oklahoma Christian, her mark is highest in a game for an Aggie player.
- The Aggies were selected fifth in the Lone Star Conference preseason poll, minoring their 2014 finish.
- Cameron posted their best winning percentage in program history (.596) after finishing with a 31-21 overall record and third highest win total.
- The Aggies have two (Macy McKay and Lauren Renneker) who were on squads that reached the College World Series, McKay in 2012 with Central Oklahoma and Renneker in 2014 with Southeastern Oklahoma; both are Lawton natives.
- Cameron has 10 players who came from the same high school (MacArthur, Cache, Denton-Ryan).
- Lauren Renneker's mother Gladys, coached the Aggie softball program from 1997-2005 and is Cameron's winningest coach with 170 wins.
- There are seven players on Cameron's roster than are from Lawton, with six playing at MacArthur High School.
- Established in 1977, Cameron has the longest continually operating softball program in the Lone Star Conference. 

Tarleton State (20-16, 7-7 LSC)
- Has split their last two LSC series with Angelo State and Texas A&M-Commerce.
- Weather has affected the TexAnn schedule with six league games lost (four to West Texas A&M and two at Texas Woman's) and had a non-conference doubleheader called on at home on Wednesday against Texas A&M-International.
- Holds a 10-3 record on their home turf but are 10-13 on the road.
- They are 11-15 after dropping eight in a row.
- Katelyn Conlee leads the TSU lineup with a .402 batting average, with 12 doubles, and 39 RBI.    
- Second lowest fielding percentage in the LSC (.948) with a league high 61 errors.
- Haley Freyman has toss a league high 142 innings and has made appearances in 30 of TSU's 36 contests this season.

Coming Up
Cameron will remain at home and Oklahoma Panhandle on Tuesday for a doubleheader starting a 1 p.m.
