DeLong vs. Texas A&M-KingsvileThe Aggies are a perfect 8-0 when facing the Javelinas under head coach
Rodney DeLong. In their last visit to Kingsville, Texas during the 2014 season, Cameron recorded their last no-hitter with
Kelsey Watson. Last year, TAMUK was outscored by the Aggies 27-2, with CU blasting five homers in the series at McMahon Field.
Looking BackÂ
The Aggies split a nonconference doubleheader with Central Oklahoma on March 1, taking game one 8-7 in an extra inning but fell 11-9 in game two. The Broncos led 7-5 into the top of the seventh in game one, but a leadoff homer and an RBI single tied it up as the game entered an extra inning.
Sonora Zukerman hit a leadoff homer herself for the Aggie lead and win. In game two, UCO accounted for 15 hits, while holding the Aggies to eight.
Annie Combs and Zukerman both hit 2-for-3 on the game, and on the doubleheader, Zukerman hit 5-for-8, batting in seven total runs and recorded two homers.
Chasing Records- With 37 homers,
Sonora Zukerman is tied for third all-time at Cameron, she needs six to tie the program mark. Zukerman also sits at 146 career RBIs, which is third all-time, and she is 44 back of
Tara Martini (2012- 15) for first.

Breezy McComas with a seven RBI game on Feb. 26, 2016 against Texas A&M-Commerce tied a program mark for RBIs in a game that was last set on Feb. 25, 1994 by Traci Dilla against St. Mary's (KS).
CU Notebook- There are four players on Cameron's roster that are from Lawton and played at MacArthur High School.

- Established in 1977, Cameron has the longest continually operating softball program in the Lone Star Conference.
Texas A&M Kingsville (6-13, 0-8 LSC)-Â The Javelinas are winless in their first eight LSC contests after getting swept by Angelo State and Texas A&M-Commerce.
- Overall, they have dropped ten games in a row, and they hold the league's lowest team batting average and second highest earned run average.
- However, TAMUK pitching has done a good job keeping the ball inside the fence with a league low seven home runs allowed.
-Â Freshman Victoria Schoonard-Saborio is batting .320 and leads TAMUK in walks. The overall series is tied 14-14 with the Aggies winning the last 11 contests.
