Live Stats LAWTON – Following a six game road trip, Cameron will return to McMahon Field for a pair of doubleheaders against Eastern New Mexico beginning Saturday. The 20-9 Aggies are 5-3 in the Lone Star Conference after splitting a four game series at Texas A&M-Kingsville last week. The Javelinas snapped a 10 game skid and swept Cameron 3-0 and 6-3 in the first doubleheader, but CU turned around the next day to win game three 9-0 in five innings and took the nightcap off a seventh inning go-ahead run to win 6-4.
Breezy McComas batted 8-for-15 (.533) at the plate for CU against TAMUK. In Cameron's 9-0 blowout, she had 3 RBI and gave Cameron the go-ahead run. Through 24 games this season, McComas is batting .432 with eight doubles and six homers.
Emily Wasinger (10-2) pitched in three games for the Aggies with back-to-back wins on Sunday. In 16 innings of work, the Aggie junior had a 0.88 ERA, with ten strikeouts, and held TAMUK to a .211 batting average.
About Eastern New Mexico (10-18, LSC 3-9)-In their three LSC series this season, the Greyhounds have went one for four against Midwestern State, Angelo State, and Texas A&M-Commerce.
