Game Notes

Leading off
1.    Emily Wasinger leads the Lone Star Conference with 13 wins, she is holding batters to a .231 average, which is second best in the LSC, and has the league's third best ERA (2.35).
2.    Breezy McComas has the LSC's best slugging percentage at .857, and she is second in the league in homers with nine, which is two away from her career season mark.
3.    Annie Combs has reached base in 14 straight games and has racked up 26 runs.
4.    The Aggies have swiped 35 bags this season, which is six off from their 2015 season total.
5.    Cameron has drawn 154 walks this year, and they are already 12 off from a program record.

DeLong vs. West Texas A&M
The last time these two programs met, the Aggies sent the Lady Buffs packing their bags at the NCAA South Central Regional on WT's home field ending their season. DeLong led teams are 3-7 when facing the Lady Buffs with Cameron trailing the overall series 23-7 to WT.  In Canyon, the Aggies are 3-10 since their first visit in 2007.

Looking Back
The Aggies are riding a six game winning streak heading into their tangle in Canyon after beating Eastern New Mexico last weekend in Lawton; Cameron also took the final two games on the series at Texas A&M-Kingsville.  Breezy McComas batted .700 in the ENMU series with three homers, seven RBI, and scored nine runs.  Additionally, the CU junior slugged 1.700 at the plate and had a .800 on base percentage. Emily Wasinger continued to provide the Ags a strong arm in the circle, and she picked up three wins last weekend. In her three appearances, Wasinger had a 1.25 ERA and tossed her second one-hit game of the season on Sunday. 

Chasing Records
- With 38 homers Sonora Zukerman is tied for fifth all-time at Cameron; she needs five to tie the program mark.  Zukerman also sits at 155 career RBI, which is fourth all-time, and she is 28 back of Tara Martini (2012-15) for first. Additionally, Zukerman is closing in on 200 games played for the Aggies, and she has 191. Only four CU players have hit 200, Callie Schlatter (2007-10) was the last player to hit this career milestone.
- Breezy McComas is sixth on CU's home run list with 31, and she is also sixth in the RBI list with 115.
- Head Coach Rodney DeLong is presently sitting at 96 career wins, when he reaches 100 DeLong will be the third Aggie coach to do so and quickest to hit this milestone number.

CU Notebook
- There are four players on Cameron's roster that are from Lawton and played at MacArthur High School.
- Head Coach Rodney DeLong and CU catcher Chelsea DeLong are siblings.
- Established in 1977, Cameron has the longest continually operating softball program in the Lone Star Conference. 

No. 1 West Texas A&M (33-1, 15-1 LSC)
- The Lady Buffs opened the season winning 30 in a row before Texas A&M-Commerce snapped the streak with a 6-4 win on Saturday. 
- At home, the Lady Buffs are 19-0, and CU's win in the NCAA Regional last season was the last loss on WT's home turf. 
- Nationally speaking, they have the second highest team batting average (.374) and are leading the nation in scoring (9.06), along with on-base percentage (.483).  
- In the circle, WT can go four deep with three starters having a below 2.00 ERA.  
- Tori Bayer is 10-0 this season in her last 26 innings pitched, she has only allowed one earned run to cross home plate. Bayer is mostly used out of the bullpen with only two starts this year, and has seven saves.
- Ashley Hardin leads the LSC with 11 homers and has 39 RBI, which is 13th in the nation.
