1. Â Â Cameron softball finds themselves sixth in the South Central Region announced on Wednesday in the NCAA's first of three regional polls for the 2016 season. West Texas A&M sits atop of the poll followed by St. Mary's, Texas Woman's, Colorado Mesa, Texas A&M-Commerce, Cameron, Lubbock Christian, and Angelo State. Metropolitan State and Chardon State are outside of the top-eight and would miss the cut if this were the final poll.
2. Â Â With eight games remaining, the Aggies have clinched their third winning season in a row for the second time in program history. Cameron's 29 wins this season is fourth most in 40 seasons of softball at the university. Â Â

Chelsea DeLong has thrown out ten runners attempting to steal this season, which is tied for fourth best in the LSC.
4. Â Â The Aggies have swiped 48 bags this season, which has surpassed their 2015 season total by seven.
5. Â Â Cameron is 20-1 this season when they out-hit their opposition and are 17-0 when leading past the fifth inning.
Senior Day
With possible inclement weather projected this weekend, Saturday's Senior Day festivities have been moved to Friday. Â The Aggies will be honoring

Macy McKay, and
Sonora Zukerman. Â Should weather be a factor on Saturday, the makeup date to conclude the series is on Sunday at 1 p.m. Â If poor weather conditions continue through Sunday, there will be no make-up date for the second doubleheader in the series.
Looking Back
- The Aggies dropped their second LSC series on the road, losing three-of-four at Tarleton State.Â

-Katelyn Vinson leads MSU with 12 homers and a .445 batting average; the Mustang senior is the LSC career home runs leader with 65.
-Defensively the Mustangs are eighth in fielding percentage (.940) and have committed a league high 86 errors.
-In the circle, MSU holds a 4.66 ERA, with batters holding a .296 average.

Tara Martini (2012-15) for first. Â Additionally, Zukerman surpassed 200 games played at Cameron is one of four CU players have hit 200; Callie -Schlatter (2007-10) was the last player to hit this career milestone.
