Game Notes

LEADING OFF
1.    The Aggies are inside the top-25 in the national polls for the second time in program history coming in at No. 22. This is the highest that the Aggies have been ranked; their previous high was No. 25, which they hit last season.
2.    With 12 games remaining, the Aggies have clinched their third winning season in a row for the second time in program history. Cameron's 28 wins this season is tied for fifth most in 40 seasons of softball at the university.    
3.    Chelsea DeLong has thrown out eight runners attempting to steal this season, which is eighth best in the LSC.
4.    The Aggies have swiped 48 bags this season, which has surpassed their 2015 season total by seven.
5.    Cameron is 20-1 this season when they out-hit their opposition and are 16-0 when leading past the fifth inning.

LOOKING BACK
-The Aggies picked up a pivotal conference series win over No. 20 Texas Woman's after taking three of four games in Lawton. 
-Cameron's series win over TWU was their first since 1998, and the Aggies 12-2 victory in five innings is the first time they run-ruled the Pioneers.
-In their 7-6 loss, the Aggies drew 11 walks, which was the most since 2009 for a Cameron squad.

SERIES NOTEBOOK
-Cameron trails the series 23-10-1 to the TexAnns and in Stephenville, the Aggies are 3-6.
-Tarleton State has won their last three meetings with Cameron, with the last two in the postseason. The TexAnns took two from the Aggies and eliminated them in the NCAA South Central Regional Finals in Canyon, Texas.
-In his third season, Head Coach Rodney DeLong is 4-6 against Tarleton State and split their last two regular season meetings.
-Cameron is 0-3 this season when playing at night.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
-The TexAnns are 7-5 at home this season and have won four straight on their home turf.
-Nyka Wood and Katelyn Conlee are both hitting .362 on the year with Wood leading the team in home runs (6) and RBI (36).
-In the circle, Haley Freyman comes in with a 2.62 ERA and 99 strikeouts in an LSC-leading 184.1 innings. Freyman also leads the LSC in wins with 17.

CHASING RECORDS
-With 41 homers Sonora Zukerman is second all-time at Cameron, she needs two more to tie the program mark.  Zukerman also sits at 160 career RBI, which is fourth all-time, and she is 23 back of Tara Martini (2012-15) for first.  Additionally, Zukerman is closing in on 200 games played for the Aggies, and she has 19.  Only four CU players have hit 200, Callie Schlatter (2007-10) was the last player to hit this career milestone.
-Breezy McComas is tied for fifth on CU's home run list with 32, and she is also sixth in the RBI list with 116.
-Paige Daino is tied for seventh the Aggie home run list with 31 and is fifth on the career RBI list with 122.
-Emily Wasinger with 15 wins this season is tied for sixth most by an Aggie pitcher is a year.
