CU women visit Red River rival Midwestern State

Game Notes

First Tip:
- The Aggies look to take down their Red River rival on Tuesday as they take on Midwestern State.
- Cameron split their pair of games in New Mexico, falling to the now 8-0 in LSC play Eastern New Mexico, 84-76 and then taking down Western New Mexico 83-60 two days later.
- The Ags are now 1-4 in true road contests, with six more away games on the schedule.
- Against the Greyhounds, CU shot 38.5 percent from the field and just 31.3 percent from the perimeter, while turning the ball over 16 times; Savanna James led the Ags with 25 points and five rebounds, while Jamie Bonnarens added 14 points, seven rebounds, three blocks, and two steals.
- In the win over WNMU, CU shot over 46 percent from the field and had 16 steals, turning the Mustangs over 21 times; Bonnarens scored a career high 21 points, James chipped in a 20 point, 12 rebound double-double, and Natalie Halbleib added 19 points, going 3-5 from long range.
- Cameron is 15th in the nation with 79.2 points per game, while shooting 39.5 percent from the field, 32.2 percent from three, and 69.6 percent from the charity stripe.
- Opponents are scoring 75.8 points per game, while shooting 41.3 percent from the field and 27.4 percent from the perimeter.
- James leads CU and is fourth in the LSC with 17.1 points per contest, while averaging 8.1 rebounds and shooting 58.5 percent from the field, which is top-10 in the country.
- Freshman, Bonnarens is averaging 12.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, while Charron Montgomery is scoring 11 points per contest, and Halblieb averages 10.9 points. 
- Montgomery leads CU with 3.8 assists per contest, while Brittany Hill averages 3.6 assists and 2.2 steals per contest.
 
About Midwestern State:
-  MSU is now 4-10 and 1-7 in LSC play after beating Western New Mexico and losing to Eastern New Mexico.
- The Mustangs are averaging just 64 points per game, while shooting 38.5 percent from the field, 34.2 percent from three point range, and 67.3 from the free throw line.
- Opponents are scoring around 68 points against them, while shooting over 40 percent from the field and t33.8 percent from the perimeter.

Last Time vs. MSU:
The Aggies defeated MSU last time out 77-61. They shot 46.7 percent from the field, an incredible 61.9 percent from the perimeter, and 72.7 percent from the free throw line. Savanna James had nine points and seven rebounds, while both Brittany Hill and Natalie Halbleib had seven points. Taylor led MSU with 23 points, going 4-6 from behind the three point line.
