CU concludes road stretch at TWU

Around the LSC: Tarleton State advanced two spots to No. 13  in the AVCA national poll while Angelo State dropped five spots to No. 22. Four LSC teams will be in action on Tuesday night with CU at TWU, Midwestern State at Texas A&M-Commerce, Eastern New Mexico at West Texas A&M and Texas A&M-Kingsville at Tarleton State.
 
Looking Forward: Cameron will conclude their four game road stretch with a match at Texas Woman's on Tuesday. The Aggies are now 5-13 overall this season and 2-8 in league play, while TWU is 9-10 overall, 6-4 in the LSC and 4-1 on their home court. The Pioneers have a slight hitting advantage over the Aggies, attacking at a .188 clip to CU's .176 percentage. TWU also averages 13 kills per set while CU knocks down a little over 11 kills per game.

Miri Shade leads the Pioneers with 3.32 kills per set, third best in the league with CU's Paige Dixon in fourth averaging 3.16 kills per set. TWU's Katy Ranes is the league's top setter notching 10.78 assists per set. Haley Collins is their team leader in blocks with 57 total this season. CU's Brittnee Altic averages the league's third best service ace mark, Brook Conley is top-10 in assists and Brandy Carr is top-10 in block in the LSC.

Looking Back: The Aggies fell in straight sets to Texas A&M-Kingsville on the road last Friday for their third loss in a row. Dixon led CU with 14 kills, while Brittany Lawson chipped in nine kills and 10 digs. Conley had her 10th double-double of the season with 24 assists and 13 digs, while Altic had 17 digs as Cameron's libero. Additionally, Ashleigh McFatridge led the Aggies with six blocks, including two solo and four block assists, to go along with five kills.

Looking Ahead: Cameron will begin at three-match home stand beginning Oct. 20-21 with UT Permian Basin and West Texas A&M concluding with a non-conference rematch with Southern Nazarene on Oct. 24 in the Aggie Gym.
