SOUTHLAKE, Texas – The No. 16 ranked Cameron men's tennis team fell to No. 23 St. Mary's 6-3, moving to 3-3 on the season.  

The match started with CU losing the doubles matches 2-1, as Felipe Oyarzun and Mateo Velasco won 8-6 in the one doubles spot, but Vinicius Santos and Bruno Babic lost 8-1 in the two spot and Andres Velasco and Julen Gutierrez fell 8-3 in the three spot.

Santos took down STMU's number one in three sets 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 to start for the Aggies' second point, while Gutierrez got their second point with a 6-1, 6-2 win in the fifth spot. Babic, Oyarzun, and Keiran President all lost their singles matches in two sets, with M. Velasco fall in three sets in his match 2-6, 6-2, 2-6.

St. Mary's is now 4-2 with the win, haven beaten Trinity, No. 29 Ouachita Baptist, and Laredo earlier this spring. They are ranked No. 3 in the ITA South Central region while CU is ranked second.

The Aggies will host Nebraska Kearney for their first home match of the season on Monday, Feb. 27 beginning at 11 a.m.
