PLANO, Texas – After falling 6-3 to Tyler Junior College in their first match of the spring, the Aggie men's tennis team rebounded with a 9-0 victory over Collin County College on Friday.
CU swept all three doubles matches with
Felipe Oyarzun and
Mateo Velasco winning 8-4 in the one spot. In the two spot,
Bruno Babic and
Vinicius Santos won 8-6, while
Julen Gutierrez and
Andres Velasco won 8-4 in the three spot.
In singles, Santos took down Collin's number one, 7-5, 3-6, 10-4, while Babic won 6-2, 6-1 in the two spot. Cameron's three singles player, Oyarzun also won in three sets, while Gutierrez,
Stefam Svicevic, and
Keiran President all won their matches.
Cameron is now 2-1 and will take on Division I UT Arlington Saturday at 10 a.m. in Arlington, Texas.
